Today was a really special red-letter type day if you will.  Mom was really outta sorts on and off all day.  Still very restless and all the whole time.  I had to cancel last night with the duck to go to her first baby checkup appointment.  The gardener for one these days has no patience at all let alone with mom.  As the day progessed, the gardener has been stressed almost to her breaking point one way or another,  she was trying to help clean the house around a very clingy fussy baby.  After a few hours of this with mom's non-stop restlessness, all of a sudden mom started following her room to room like a shadow instead of me.  She made a very bland type of comment about it to me from across the room.  All of a sudden mom snaps and starts yelling at her for really no reason or anything.  With the hands fluttering and flying and all. Finally (being old school and saying more what you mean instead of read between the lines how the kids are now) after blowing up and finishing up with fine I'll leave, good-bye.  The gardener took it more as fine You can leave cya, bye.  So she starts bawling as she's sitting at the computer.

Mom of course don't understand why anything is wrong.  So the gardener starts texting big N at work then he calls her.  She's so worked up how they have to move out cuz even her own grandma don't want her to stay here, and nobody else wants them either.  I had to text him and found out he ended up leaving work early to try to calm her down.  Unfortunately he also ended up missing out on 5 hrs of work that he busted his butt to get.  Then later he had her call me.  Why do you want us to come back.  No one wanted you to leave, why waste money on a motel room when you almost have enough saved up to get into an apartment, and we love you and all that good stuff.

Yeah, so it's been real fun here.  The chef and the berry can't make tomarrow happen soon enough.  That's when they get home.  I really need another adult to talk to.

P. S.  I don't think it's gonna set any easier with her when I point out that dimetia only tends to get much worse.  I didn't even tell her yet sitting at the table with Ouizer, I was getting tons of dirty looks.  They eased up a bunch when I reminded her that I'm not dad.  The dirty looks and silent treatment don't do anything with me.  If you really want me to know how much I pissed you off, use the language and tell me.  Otherwise I don't know so I cant make it better or change anything.  If I ever get like that, please just shoot me and put me out of everyones misery.

Yesterday was a really odd type of day.

First jungle boy was running around butt naked as he likes to do.  He seen Shadow on the one recliner and climbed up next to her.  All of a sudden he peed on the poor dog.  I guess he decided to claim his best buddy for his own finally.

Later after mom decided to get up she went to the bathroom and then back to the room to change, or so I thought.  No, she wanted to climb back into bed without changing at all.  So not good for her, but when she gets in her moods there's no reasoning with her.  Finally she got out of bed to stay and got dressed.  She's been overly restless since getting back from Wisc. last week.  Well, a couple hours later a storm chaser came to the door trying to drum up buisiness with hail damage on roofs.  Mom heard the knock at the door and jumps up to go and talk.  She refused to slow down and Shadow got out.  The poor woman was scared cuz the dog kept trying to be friendly and jump up to say hi.  It took a few minutes to get her back inside.  Can we say almost potential lawsuit?  Grrrr.

Then last night I had mom go to the bathroom before getting her ready for bed.  Earlier in the day I finally got the potty chair set up in the bathroom for the little ones.  Well mom was in there longer than normal so I went to check on her.  She went to the bathroom alright but it was on the potty chair.  It wasn't even open.  She was sitting in the thinker position.  I asked her what she was doing and helped her back up.  That's when I seen the puddle all over the top of the chair and floor.  Huge mess.  After I got her to bed and clean up the mess I had to go outside and just started cracking up so hard I started crying.  Of all the bizarre things to do that she hasn't already come up with.  Oh wow.

So tomarrow the duck has her first official appointment with the doctor for her checkup.  I really wanna go and she wants me to, and the gardener grudingly agreed to stay with mom, but she really don't have the patience with mom.  Especially with the baby.  So not quite sure how that's gonna work.  Especially seems it will probably take a few hours with going to the clinic and try to get set up with the medical card.  That's if she don't make too much.

And then tomarrow morning the chef and berry start heading home from Florida.  I gotta check out the myspace pages and see all the pics.  They went to the beach yesterday.  Of course once again at the ocean instead of the huge lake they live close to.  One of these years I'll be able to join them, but unfortunately not while mom's still around.  I'd love to get mom down there.  I don't think she's ever been to Florida.  I know I never have.  But with how discombobulated she was for the 2 days at baby mama's in Wisc.  that really wouldn't be advisable.  So at least I can see the pics and live vicariously through them.

Finally got the computer running.  Thank heavens for my brother in law, who is quite techy.  He saved what was left of my sanity.  I did everything I could, even some with him on the phone talking me through it.  He had to come over the next day and it took quite a few hours.  I'm glad he's such a patient guy.  Anyhow on with the new pics from when we stayed a couple days at baby mama's house to help her out.

This is one of the baby with her other gramma.  She looks so serious, but the other ones that she was smiling in turned out kinda blurry.

As always had to make sure concrete boy got lots of extra big brother attention.

She does have the cheeks that just say pinch me.  LOL

She's definitely gonna be a daddy's girl.

Devil bunny duo in the making.

Don't hate me 'cuz I'm beautiful.

Happy new family.

Mommy you go over there after you put her down so I can pick her up my own self.

I gonna 'splain this one time.  The good toys are mine first.  Got it?

Even great gramma got into the act.  At first she was trying to remember what to do with a baby.  It was almost comical.

He's definitely happy to share her swing with her.  Makes it easier to hold her.  You could tell they are starting to resemble each other.

He had an ear thing like his mother.  Time to tie his and mommy's fingers in knots or something.  At least he wasn't tugging them.

  I see you.

Mommy and the babies.  She was looking mighty tired, I wonder why.

My little snuggler.

At least they are learning to share already.  For now.

I thought this one definitely screams 'my precious'.  Such a little face.  I'm suprized she hasn't really lost any hair.  It has started lightening up and getting more red in it.

It was a lot of fun up there, but I think it was a little too much on mom being so out of her element and all.  That's about all for now.  They are hoping to come down here next weekend, but it depends on if she's feeling up to it first.  I wish I would have been able to get a couple of pics of their dog with the babies.  He's a huge gentle giant of a German Sheppard.  He constantly has concrete boy climbing all over him.  Now there will be the two of them all of a sudden getting him.

Well, that's all for now.

First baby mama got pregnant with my precious.  Then bones found out concert mama was pregnant a couple months later, she's due in October.  Then last night a got a call from my other daughter in tears that she's pregnant.  4 pee tests in a row came up positive right away.  She's trying to get the number for the one clinic to make an appointment.  Yes it's the duck.  Talk about a baby boom.  Along with a lot of their cousins and friends that I know.  I'm trying not to get too excited until she does get in to get checked out.  I let you all know how that goes.  Now that's a big wow.

Welcome to the world Jada Lynn.  Born on her due date just barely.  12:16 am, 6 lb. 12 oz., 18 1/2".  Mommy and baby are doing fine and back home as of Friday morning.  I think I may have to refer to her as either princess or my precious, but gotta see what ends up fitting best first.  LOL.

She was about 30 min or so old by this time before even her 1st bath.  We just missed being there by about 20 min.  At least this time we were on the way and almost there.

Happy big brother.  She was about 18 hours old by now.

Aunt berry got her baby fix.  I love her new do.

Proud daddy. He's looking pretty good these days after getting the last of his teeth, btw.

And here's the other gramma.  Too bad it ended up so blurry.

The chef was all excited to see his new grand daughter.

Even great grandma got her baby fix.  Who needs one of the vibrating seats when you have tremors, lol.

She is such a little sweetie.  I can't get over all the hair.  Call me jelous, I only had bald babies.

Mommy's so happy it's finally over, now the real fun begins.  She will get to find out what it's like to have siblings to deal with as time goes on.  That should prove entertaining.

Mommy and her babies, how sweet.  He couldn't wait to get back down.

She is just so tiny for now.

I love watching some of the expresions they make.  Kinda makes you wonder what they think of.

I snagged this one from my daughters myspace page.  This was her coming home outfit.

Next week mom and I are going up there after daddy goes back to work to help mommy some.  Probably stay for the night.  At least time it will be planned out ahead of time, not a last minute thing where you gotta wing it.  Mom's not very adaptable anymore.  But it's all good.

Till next time.....

Yes he's the kid in the dryer.

His birthday party was at C'ville park on father's day no less.  But it was a lot of fun and a couple suprize visitors to made it even nicer.

Trying to figure out how to get to his cake.

Mom had fun taking a break from playing with her hair to playing with her glasses.

Shadow had fun chewing on bones.

The chef tried to keep her in check though.

Big N enjoyed burning the meat for his son's party.

The duck and A got there a little while after we did.

Eating with the mommy.  Also known as the gardener.

Those portable high chairs really come in handy.

concrete boy the devil bunny.

The biggest suprize (the duck knew ahead of time the brat) was when baby mama, E and his parents and concrete boy showed up.

Get in my belly.  About two weeks to go.  She was hoping the long ride down here would have put her into labor.  Don't blame her, but dang it got hot that day.

Talk about switching roles.

All of them kept going back to the little creek to try and cool off.

And the cake begins.

He really enjoyed the cake.  Wore it pretty well to.

He enjoyed feeding himself that gooey richness.

He just wanted a little more.

Present time!!!!!

It's always good to have a second opinion when you inspect toys.

Clothes are never as much fun, but needed when it's one growth spurt after another.

Gramma just knows what the fun presents are for both the boys.  LOL

It's never a good party without a fight.  Cake fight that is.

Shadow was ready to clean up after them.

Ist pinata.

Concrete boy got in a few good wacks.

Didn't last long when the big 'kids' started.

The candy scramble.

Trophy for breaking it.

Good thing I had big pockets to put his treasures in one at a time.

Strollers can be versatile.

It's my turn, I'm older.

Aunt berry to the rescue.

Gonna do posts with pics from the 4th and with the new baby.

I've been working on shoveling out mom's room on and off for almost a week now.  You wouldn't believe some of the stuff I came across in there besides killer 6 ft dustbunnies on the war path and stuff.  The duck and A brought there mattress set (full size) over for mom yesterday.  Earlier in the day mom and I went to the thrift store looking for a bed frame.  Kicking myself for getting rid of the old one in the garage last year.  Anyway we found a halfway decent set.  The headboard, footboard, frame and slats for real cheap so we got it.  Then remembered she would need a new waterproof pad to fit.  So went to walmart to grab one while we were right there.  The damn footboard (solid wood) slides out right on my foot.  Naturally I was in my flip flops.  The lump went down, just some pretty blue bruising and still kinda limping but I'm fine.  So it got set up with the kids help.  Mom says it's really comfy.  All good.  Now the problem is going through all the stuff that was under her bed to start with and a few other places.

My question is (at least till I come across other 'treasures' is would any of you be interested in a bunch of bingo dabbers plus at least one refill, and magnetic bingo chips?  I believe there is still at least one of the wands for them to.  Mom hasn't been able to play bingo in a couple of years.  She can't follow the cards anymore.  Plus if she don't win withing the first 15 min or so she's bored and don't wanna play no more.  So if you guys or anyone you know would like them just let me know and they are yours.

Just trying to weed through a lot of unnecessary crap.  Next step after that is my room.  Still got a lot of things in there from when it was a storage room before bones even moved back home for a while.  That should prove pretty scary.

After numerous attempts at playing telephone tag with the guy from the village, I finally got through to him.  Just as I thought it was a misunderstanding.  He at first couldn't figure out why it ended up on his desk in the first place.  I mentioned the whole driveway incident with the gardener, he remembered talking to her then.  According to him she said she was renting.  I corrected him and told him it wasn't here.  She had just moved out of her apartment which had become rather a danger to live in.  The roof outside their front door had a divot and her fiance could reach up and push it up.  Water damage bad.  Then on top of that the balcony was mostly plaster including the beams holding it up.  When they got the inspectors there the complex was in lots of code violations.  The balcony could have collapsed like a Chicago porch at any given time.  It's not just them but the baby to worry about to.  So she hurried up and grabbed the stuff in boxes and bags brought it over here to sort through it.

So he agreed and then mentioned as soon as it's verified it will be fine.  I guess he needs to check to make sure she did move out of the apartments that I mentioned.  Now wait and see what happens next.

Last week mom (in dad's name) got a letter from the coding inspector from the village.  According to them this house that they have owned and lived in for 39 years is now a rental.  So according to them mom has to pay a $500 fee and have the inside and out inspected by a coding idiot.  The only thing I can figure is when the gardener was in a hurry to move out of her apartment, she asked if she could sort through boxes and bags in the driveway.  You know frivolous stuff, like repacking to make sure when she does move into a new place the bathroom stuff is with the bathroom stuff, kitchen stuff with the kitchen stuff, etc.  A coding inspector came up to harrass her as she was doing this.  I have a feeling it's the same one who sent the letter in the first place.

A few days after this the letter came.  I called the village to talk to this moron and they put me through to his voice mail.  I have to talk to him and explain why there is no way this is or ever has been a rental in almost 40 years.  Supposedly he always returns the calls on his voicemail.   He never did, so had to go to the village today and of course he wasn't in.  Gotta call tomarrow, he'll be in at 11.  Allllrrriggghty then.  Also, I was told after explain why this isn't a rental, if he agrees with it it's all fine.  Excuse me?  I'll be damned if mom is gonna pay a hefty fee or anything like that.  I figure if he don't, I'm getting in touch with the newspaper.  If that don't work it's on to the bar association.  Seriously, I can't see it coming to that.  But I'm back to the point that I'm not sure if I should scratch my watch or wind my butt.  Guess see what happens tomarrow.
